First off, thank you for not price gouging and charging insane prices. I work in a hospital and we get one mask to wear and they get “cleaned”. If we want more, it’s up to us and to find N95s WITHOUT a valve is extraordinarily difficult. The first thing I did was open the box, count the masks, verify lot numbers and package code on 3M’s website. They are legit! Second, these arrived a day earlier than stated when I placed the order!

I’m just getting used to 2 rubber bands around my head – it’s surprisingly comfortable. While I have received 2 of the Pfizer shots, it’s going to take me months to get out of the habit of wearing masks and avoiding crowds. The breathing resistance provides me some assurance that the masks are genuine, not counterfeit.

The 3M masks arrived fine, but a barcode label was covering the 3M SafeGuard numbers. Since there have been many counterfeits reported, I became suspicious that this box might also be counterfeit. I was able to carefully pry up the barcode label to see the numbers. A check at the 3M website, showed the 3M masks are legitimate. Please don’t cover the SafeGuard numbers on the bottom of the box.

To those who complain about poor quality straps and attachments…GET OVER IT!
Due to current supply issues, Obviously, 3M had to adapt to what they could get to continue manufacturing these basic staples of many trades.
As per instructions, PRE-STRECH straps before use.
I squeeze opposite anchor points together and pre-stretch as required… No torn anchor points.
I have a good-sized ‘Mellon’ and wear a ball cap and prescription glasses, BOTH of which stay on while installing/removing the mask. With a hit of compressed air every so often I can get at least a week or so of use before something lets go or is too clogged to properly filter {about the same as pre-pandemic} and that’s grinding fiberglass, wood, and masonry dust!
Stop complaining, try the above, adapt, and get over it.
In the long run, you’ll benefit!

I can say that wearing one fits really great but I can definitely see why people prefer to have a valve but if you’re going to go on a plane then you can’t have one with a valve since that is unfiltered air being released to everyone else

The masks pass 3M’s validation tool. People that have said they don’t appear are not using the right numbers. The price is in line with what they cost before the pandemic. 3M gives them a shelf life of 5 years. Mostly due to the foam nose piece and elastic bands. The filter is inert. I have 3M N95 masks in my garage that are at least 2 years old and not stored under ideal conditions and they still are usable.

Although it’s labeled N95 I use this mask for chores around the house. Sanding wood, wire brushing stucco to paint, and blowing leaves and debris with a gas leaf blower. I used to get 3M Dustmasks easily but because of Covid, they became impossible to get. These are legit as far as I can tell. They fit perfectly and do exactly as needed and at a pre-Covid reasonable price. Get these, you won’t be disappointed.

First off I used the 3M verification on their site and confirmed that these are authentic. The product I received was the NON PORTED 3M N95 “Particulate Respirator”. The item description is slightly incorrect, but I got what I wanted. I’m not a big fan of the straps, I prefer the strap design on the ported version, it pulls on the hairless. However, if this is a plant-based biodegradable design I’ll gladly get used to it.

Nice, secure fit. Pressing the metal bridge on the nose will give a better seal around the nose and cheek. I wear mine until the material gets soft from wear or until the band breaks. Usually, that’s about 3 weeks. Sometimes the band breaks before the mask going soft hence the 4 stars.

FYI: lay a tissue inside the mask to absorb moisture from ur face. replace the tissue instead of the mask — masks last a lot longer 😉
