This by far is the best soft N95 mask that I have worn. It fits my large face well and snugs with my short beard. I can breathe in this and it does not feel like I’m struggling for air. I can wear this during my eight-hour shift with breaks and not worry about leaks while wearing two masks. In the grocery store, I can walk briskly in ease of my own airflow. And can be heard very clear while talking to the cashier. However, I am not a big fan of overhead masks. They tend to be a bother for me being an eyeglass wearer. Yet, when it comes to safety this is it. I can sweat and push through my tasks before replacement. And my sensitive skin does not break out at all!

  2. Howard A. Lewis. (RI, United States)

I’ve been buying and using masks throughout the COVID-19 period. All sorts of medical-grade masks. I feel I’m a pretty good judge of quality and value. Admittedly, prices have finally come down. The BNX is excellent all around. The straps are the most secure I have found. The mask produces an excellent seal. It is within limits comfortable to wear. I wholeheartedly recommend these to anyone looking for an actual N95 mask.

  3. jojo. (GA, United States)

I received the Product 10 days late after the date of delivery. I am extremely Disappoint with your Delivery Service. PLease make it Batter as your Products are. Next Time If You Delivered on time i will give 5 stars

  4. Aurora88. (OK, United States)

Received these masks in exchange for my writing an honest and fair review. Seemingly well-made, snug-fitting mask of quality materials made in the USA but never could get a good seal around my nose. These may fit a different head & face better than mine.

I always do an “eyeglass test” (to see if glasses fog from air leak). Get some sunglasses to try this if you don’t wear glasses. Note that it isn’t a problem because of the glasses as another reviewer posted but the issue of air leakage is simply and easily revealed via the glasses fogging. I use the glasses to check for leaks.

  5. Beth. (OH, United States)

I have to say, I wasn’t sure how well this mask would work because it feels very lightweight, but when you put it on, you can tell it is definitely working! I felt like I was well protected wearing this. Quality is excellent! The only con is if you just fixed your hair and if you have to pull the straps over your hair and if you have a smaller face like me. It was a little big for my size face, but I still recommend this mask.

  6. Paar. (NC, United States)

I’m not a believer in the blue disposable masks that I see people wearing. I wanted a mask that was certified to protect me. I bought some KN95 masks that fit more like a duckbill and found they didn’t cover my face well. I bought more KN95 masks with the head straps that go around the back of the head but the upper strap kept sliding down my hair making it uncomfortable.

I bought these because they attach behind the ears, making them easy to put on and take off, and the strap doesn’t slide down. The fact that they’re N95, not KN95 gives me further confidence they are protecting my family and me. I just wore mine for an 11-hour journey that included 3 airports and 2 flights and it worked great, fit great, and felt great. I will order more of these when I need them

  7. G Stapleton. (NM, United States)

The H95W mask by BNX is quite comfortable and fits snugly over the nose and under the chin. The over-the-head straps are cloth wrapped and softer on the skin than the bare rubber elastic bands that are often found on N95 masks. The bands are attached to the mask with some sort of pressure seal that is also more comfortable and hopefully less likely to break than the staples used on other masks. The nosepiece is fully enclosed in the fabric giving the mask a clean and uniform appearance while the mask itself can fold flat making it easy to store when not in use. I have no way of testing the filtering efficacy of the mask but I would give it high marks for design and comfort.

  8. Ryan Johnson. (ME, United States)

The mask is as close to well-engineered as you will get without buying a non-disposable respirator or a medical-grade mask. The material is great, and the straps are sturdy and will not accidentally break. Straps tend to pop off on cheaper products, so this product is a clear winner.

This mask is very comfortable. It is comfortable on the face, and the top strap can be taken off when the mask is not needed and the mask will hang from the neck via the bottom strap.

The shape of the mask is very valuable for covering the face properly, however, the mask still suffers from accidental ventilation on the top edge, fogging up glasses. It is relatively well-contoured in this area, but not good enough for people with pointy noses, apparently.

  9. Jordan. (MT, United States)

I feel I have a medium-sized face, with a slightly larger than the normal nose. These masks fully cover my nose and mouth and create a nice seal. There was a little gap at the top of my nose, but I was able to mold the material around it close most of the gap. The elastic straps are the right size and not too tight (like some of the other masks I have tried!) They also don’t have any smell either!

These are great masks for everyday wear! Would highly recommend it!

  10. David rhymers. (KS, United States)

These masks checked all the boxes for how you want your mask to fit. They covered my nose and mouth without every having to adjust from being too loose and sliding or too tight. I wore these for a trip to Florida and I felt that I wasn’t overheating. I have a normal size female head and they were a good fit. The only downside is the bands go over your head instead of your ears. They were still comfy, I just had to adjust my long hair to make it work.would definitely recommend this product for comfort, breath ability, and safety!

  11. Danna L. (IL, United States)

This face mask is very durable! I really like how soft and flexible the material is on my skin. This is a thin but very protective face mask. I can still breathe comfortably through the mask and the design fits my face nicely. The 2 strap design is somewhat cumbersome. However, the straps are very soft and stretchy, the material feels really nice over my head, but I would prefer that they used 1 strap or the ear loops design. The nose grip is pretty thick and kind of hard to bend to form over your nose. Overall, this is a pretty decent N95 face mask and does what it said it does.

  12. Muhammad C. (FL, United States)

This is by far one of the most comfortable N95 masks I’ve worn for work and personal use. The quality is great, the fit is comfortable, and the pricing is reasonable. Best part of the mask is the flexible nose clip which compared to others I’ve tried, doesn’t painfully pinch my nose while in use. Would purchase again.

  13. Josaf. (DE, United States)

I have purchased a 95 mask from a different manufacturer in the past and paid a lot more money for them. They did the job no doubt about that but they were very rough, which was uncomfortable on my skin. The straps broke very easily I would put one on and one of the straps would break before I had even worn it. I’m a lady that’s not big and I don’t have a big head so there was no reason for that. These masks are extremely comfortable have very strong straps and are very soft not irritating at all to the skin! I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend these to everyone who is looking for an n95 mask.

  14. Mbigoofer. (AR, United States)

I purchased these masks for my father, who wears glasses and hearing aids, so the earloop masks are much more difficult for him to wear. The headband loops are great for him in these situations. He has a fairly large head (as do I), so the superelastic bands are great because they aren’t super tight around our heads. However, the mask portion is fairly snug, which I prefer because I like to know that nothing is getting in or out of the mask. My father prefers masks that don’t sit so snug against the nose/mouth and for him, this is a little claustrophobic. However, to be honest, the only other masks he didn’t complain about in terms of tightness are KN94, which don’t protect him as well. So, as a healthcare worker, I think these masks are great.

  15. Emsplat. (FL, United States)

These are my new favorite everyday-wear masks. Great for comfort and they allow for room to breathe without looking quite as silly as the duckbill. I find the straps to also be a bit stronger and better attached than other masks I’ve tried. Two fairly minor points: one, due to the strap style, these masks are a little difficult to take off and put back on with frequency, so I tend to use them when I know I’ll be wearing a mask for a longer stretch. Two, I have a bit of a small face and sometimes find the mask edges into my eyes. This is a minor annoyance and is easily enough fixed by nudging the mask back down.

  16. MsContinentJumper. (IL, United States)

I’ve been using AccuMed masks in higher risk situations for most of the pandemic. I really like that they have around the head straps instead of behind the ears. This newest version they put out is a great upgrade from the masks I was wearing. Still has the around the head straps and NOISH certification but it’s also a bit more breathable. Will definitely order again.

  17. Go Hawkeyes. (TX, United States)

I’m still a little bit angry at myself for not going to the hardware store in 2019 and buying an N95 mask that was made in the USA. In the early months of the pandemic, it would have made life a lot easier, since there were some occasions when I had to go into a business. I generally agree with my anti-mask friends that cloth masks don’t do a lot of good. Where I depart from them is in my belief that on some occasions, you should wear a mask that actually does protect you.

From my point of view, this pandemic ended the day my vaccine immunity officially kicked in. There are some occasions when I do wear a mask. I’ve noticed that many of my fellow shoppers don’t look like they’re in the best of health, so even if they’re not contagious with COVID, they very well could be contagious with something, and I’d just as soon not catch their cold or flu. I’ve avoided these nuisance illnesses for the last year, and thanks to my BNX masks, I can continue doing so.

More importantly, when the next pandemic rolls around (or even if I just need to do a home improvement project in a dusty environment), I want to be prepared with a mask that actually works, rather than trying to cobble something together at home. I now have three different styles of N95 masks, all from BNX. They are all excellent, and I’m glad I have all three. If I had to pick just one, it would probably be this one, but I also have their blue “duckbill” style N95 mask, and also their white KN95 mask that looks very similar to this one, but with ear loops. All three of them have their place.

Overall, this mask seems to work the best. It has a good seal, and it’s relatively comfortable to wear. If I had a job where I had to work inside for 8 hours during the next pandemic, this is probably the one I would use.

The blue “duckbill” mask is also very good with a good seal. It’s a little bit harder to put on, and it probably wouldn’t be quite as comfortable for wearing all day. However, the duckbill mask seems to be a better fit for smaller faces. My kids can’t get a good seal with the white mask, but the blue mask fits their smaller faces better. So if you have kids, I would stock up on the blue BNX masks in addition to (or maybe instead of) this model.

FInally, BNX also makes a KN95 mask. This is a bit strange, since the mask (like the other models) is made in the USA. But even though it is made in the USA, it has the Chinese KN95 seal of approval, rather than the American NIOSH N95 certification. The KN95 mask is almost identical to this one, with one exception–it uses ear loops rather than going around the head. I’m guessing that the seal is not quite as good this way, and for that reason, it didn’t get N95 approval. All N95 masks I’ve seen have headbands rather than ear loops. In my case, however, it seems to give a good seal.

The advantage of the KN95 mask is that it’s a lot easier to put on. The other ones require you to put the band around your head, and it takes a while to get it right. The KN95, with its ear loops, slips on easily in one second. Therefore, it’s handy if you need to run into the store for just a minute, and you can quickly put it on and take it off.

There are two disadvantages, however. First, it probably doesn’t give as good a seal, which is probably why it doesn’t have the N95 certification. But if you have to wear it a long time, it seems to me that the straps constantly tugging on your ears would get uncomfortable.

It’s handy to have some of the KN95 masks on hand, just because they are so easy to put on. But if you need to wear a mask all day, then I would get the N95 mask. I guess I would get the white one (the one this review is about) for a larger head, and the blue “duckbill” mask for a smaller head. If you are stocking up for a family, then I would get some of both.

All of these are “disposable” masks. During the COVID emergency, healthcare workers were allowed to re-use them by carefully taking them off and storing them in a paper bag. That’s exactly what we did. You can find guidance from CDC and other sources on exactly how to reuse them.

Overall, all of BNX’s products are excellent. I trust them because they have the NIOSH N95 certification, and more importantly, because they are made in the USA by a reputable company. Before ordering, I researched the company, and they are, indeed, a real bricks-and-mortar company in Houston, Texas.

  18. Conand. (AL, United States)

These cover my face well and are held tight against it by the straps that go over the head. I have a little trouble getting the nose piece to fit tight so the air doesn’t go up onto my glasses and fog them. I don’t use them as I should because I use them more than once. I know the N95 are supposed to be one use only. I am not a health care person. We have a person with an immune problem in the family, so I use these when I go into places with a lot of unmasked people. I just don’t trust that they all have been vaccinated.

  19. vChris. (WY, United States)

I prefer this type of mask with the loops that goes around your head as opposed to around your ears as they feel more comfortable because it doesn’t put pressure on your ear. Its breathable considering the N95 rating so no complaints there. Tip if you wear glasses, slide your glasses a bit over the mask and it shouldn’t fog up. I wear glasses and it can get annoying but it happens with any type of mask. One issue with this specific mask is the way the loops attaches to the mask as it seems to be the weakest point but so far it has been holding up.

  20. C F. (WA, United States)

These masks are very comfortable and easy to use. They are more comfortable and easier to adjust than a standard surgical mask, and way more comfortable than a standard N95 mask, which can be quite uncomfortable. I can see myself using these on occasions when I have to wear a mask for a considerable period of time. I like that the logos on each are also embossed into the masks, so it’s not as if I’m wearing a large billboard on my face. I like that I am getting the protection of a N95 mask, without having the look of a typical N95 mask with the big valve on front and the rigidity of the mask.

  21. Hashal. (UT, United States)

I used the BMX N95 Respirator. I used it for a full day at work, not taking it off except for a short 30-minute break. The mask was comfortable for the whole day, with the only annoyance being slightly foggy glasses.

The main issue I had with it is that the straps are weaker than what I have experienced with other masks, so when I took it off during my break to drink water, one of the straps broke. Fortunately, I had brought other masks with me (from the same package from Amazon), and the other one did not have this issue. But, in the least, the manufacturing is inconsistent for $1.99/mask. But I have used many of these masks from the same package and only one has had that issue so far.

On the other hand, I did feel protected with this respirator. And as I said earlier, I used this mask for a full 9 hour day at work and at times I forgot that I was actually wearing it.

  22. Marzi. (NY, United States)

We don’t like wearing masks, but when we do, it is important to find a good fitting comfortable one.
    What I liked:
    1. It was comfortable. I have been wearing this mask a few hours a few days per week for 3 weeks. There are headbands which are nice because I can’t bear ear loops as those are not comfortable in the least.

    2. It is sturdy. At first I wasn’t entirely sure because a strap broke of my first mask a few days in, (100 degree weather), but I think that was just an outlier as the other masks had no problems whatsoever. I even wore one for 2 weeks. I was pleased that the metal insert to fit around one’s nose never broke or showed signs of getting weak.

    What I didn’t like:
    1. It’s a mask. Who likes wearing masks? 😂 But in reality the only thing I did prefer about this mask was the model number or something on the outside of the mask. If that is going to be on the mask I would prefer it to be printed on the inside of the mask.

TLDR: This is a solid, comfortable, sturdy mask at a reasonable price.

  23. M. Benet. (SD, United States)

One of the better masks I have tried so far, especially as one who has to wear glasses. It was easy to fit the mask around my nose snugly so that my glasses did not get fogged up. The seal seems better than on any other similar masks I have tried. The straps are soft, so gentle around the head, and the mask itself roomy enough, yet sturdily protective, that I felt I could breathe well for longer periods. In fact, I liked these mask so much that I ordered additional sets.

  24. D. Huster. (NH. United States)

On the plus side, the mask fits closely without any gapping. There seems to be very little fogging with my glasses. Air flow is comfortable and yet I was unable to smell a strong candle through it. I like that they don’t touch my mouth. Also made in the USA.
The only drawback was that initially, the bands seemed a bit tight behind the head. Once wearing it for a while, however, they loosened up and became more comfortable.
    I’d purchase again.

  25. Hannah Chow. (FL. United States)

The N95 face masks are great for those who like a roomier mask. I find that other masks are often very close to the face and sometimes I get fuzz in my mouth and lip from the mask I am wearing. Another thing I like about the roominess of the mask is that it doesn’t touch my makeup (especially lipsticks), which makes it great to wear without worrying about my appearance when I take the mask off. I also like how the nose bridge can be adjusted to fit each face perfectly so that it is comfortable to wear. Plus the way the nose bridge and mask sit on the face feels like the mask was designed specifically for your face even though it can suit a lot of people. Overall, the quality and design of the masks work great with my daily life and are a great purchase.

  26. Clams. (CO. United States)

The white BNX N95 mask – I like the head loops over the ear loops – I can pull the mask down for short periods of time without having to take it off altogether and it gives my ears a rest from the ear loop masks. It’s snug and I feel protected, and can easily breathe. The only difficulty I have with it is that when I have it comfortably situated on my face and the metal nose piece supportive, the very top of the mask is right at my eyelids and somewhat irritating. So I contoured the mask with scissors. Other than that I like the mask very much.

  27. btseed. (KS, United States)

As one who rarely wore masks before the pandemic, I thought that all masks were basically the same. I learned something after purchasing these that all masks are not the same. These masks are much more comfortable and having the headband instead of the ear-loops makes them that much more comfortable.

  28. Life is good. (AK. United States)

    PROS
I can barely breathe out this mask, so I know it works well at preventing inhalants from coming in.
Very stiff, sturdy material. Could be reusable. Good strong quality fabric.
Seals face very well, does not allow for contagions to enter my breathing passageway
    CONS:
The fabric is sharp, cuts into the face make indents across the face. Not the most comfortable mask.
The way the opening gapes while resting on my face makes it so that when I breathe, the CO2 is pushed upwards and dries out my eyes
The straps are tight. Not a fan of top-down straps.

  29. Steve A. (AR, United States)

I used these for the last month to get a good idea how it performs.

Pros: they provide the protection of an n95 and give lots of room for talking. The mask does not get stuck in your mouth. The fit is good also. There was noticeably less fogging while wearing glasses.

Cons: not many. I prefer the ear loops, but they can be tight.

  30. Take a breath. (IL, United States)

I like the comfort of the mask and the quality in which it was made. The straps did not break apart from the main mask as others I have purchased in the past. I did not like the fit as it was quite large. The bridge of the nose exceeded the length of my nose which I would like to consider average length. It did not fit snug around my chin which I also consider average. So overall I felt the mask was too large causing not a tight seal. Additionally, the photo of the item did not match the item that was received. That being the straps in the photo would cause the mask to be secured by your ears where as the mask provided the straps go around your head.
I do however understand that it’s better to have the ones that go behind the head. I use the mask for various things including going into medical facilities. Not for doing any medical procedures however.

  31. Con Brio. (ME, United States)

BNX KN95 is the style of mask my husband enjoys wearing. It is easy to put on, has plenty of air space and the ear straps are of good enough quality. The fit of the mask itself is good and does not have any air gaps between mask and face. The tension on the ears from the ear straps is acceptable, although slightly tight.
Overall, he enjoys this mask the most due to its form, breathability, and comfortable fit. This is the mask he will wear the most to work when surrounded by co-workers.

  32. ML. (CA, United States)

I found the overall quality of the mask to be good and I especially liked the straps around the head instead of on the ears, as it was far more comfortable to wear long-term.

The biggest downside that I found with the mask was that I could not seem to get a good seal around the corners of my nose. Humid error continued to escape no matter how I adjusted the nose bridge and would fog up my glasses.

  33. Denise Frutos. (ID, United States)

These masks are extremely comfortable and seal really well. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I have worn it continuously for more than 8 hours with just maybe a few minutes of break for lunch, dinner, or snack.

  34. Ocean. (AK, United States)

The fit and quality of this mask is comfortable does not leak around your nose and eyes.
A proper fitting, quality N95 should seal enough so when you breathe the mask moves in and out. This mask does that so it works as it should.
straps are soft and not to tight or to loose.
    great product.

  35. AV. (CO, United States)

I DO NOT LIKE THE BEHIND THE EAR MASKS AS THEY DO NOT SEEM TO FIT AS NICELY AS THE ONES THAT GO BEHIND THE HEAD. THIS ONE CAN BE PUT ON EASILY BEHIND THE HEAD IS COMFORTABLE WITH A GOOD FIT AND CAN BE WORN FOR HOURS. IT IS ALSO EASY TO REMOVE AND ITS EASIER TO KEEP ONE STRAP AROUND THE NECK AND TAKE THE TOP ONE OFF IF YOU NEED TO EAT OR DRINK WITHOUT HAVING TO PUT THE MASK DOWN ON A TABLE OR HAVING IT PRECARIOUSLY DANGLE FROM ONE EAR.

  36. Kaz. (HI, United States)

The headband-style mask itself is well made, but may not be comfortable for people with smaller faces. It did not create a good seal for me and seems that the bottom part of the mask digs into my throat a bit and makes it slightly uncomfortable to wear. Overall, it seems that the respirator mask is well made (manufactured in the USA), however, the strap style isn’t my favorite and is a bit tight.

  37. Honor Vallor. (CT, United States)

Non-abrasive and does not ride up into eyes. The tactic to breathe in then out sharply to check for air leaks results in a little air still escaping at the bridge of the nose. I will note that I do have a small nose but do adjust the metal strip to accommodate it as much as possible.

  38. Henry. (IL, United States)

It’s an actual N95. Unlike the fake ones that use an earloop, NIOSH-certified N95 needs to have the bands looped around the head. The masks fit very comfortably. I wear glasses and when out on correctly, it fits very well, with no lens fog.

  39. Ritesh Shah. (KY, United States)

I have used other N95 mask but it give bad smell after using for few hours, this one is not giving it and it is very good after using it for few hours. Material is good and soft. I would highly recommend to buy this in future.

  40. Bharath. (MD, , United States)

These masks are well made and are very durable. At first I wasn’t sure about the over the head band compared to a ear band but few minutes after you put it on you can’t tell the difference. Will buy more once I run out.

  41. Nara. (GA, United States)

I purchased these n95 to stock up in case needed in the future. First, I like that these are based in the USA. These masks also fit well on my small face and I have no noticed any gaps in between. I would say that my glasses do get foggy a bit foggy when wearing them with these n95s. Other than that, these were breathable and I felt safe wearing them.

  42. Hales. (IA, United State)

Excellent product. No negative issues. The fit of the masks is very good; seals properly and tightly around nose and mouth. N95 and made in the USA. I much prefer the straps around the head rather than the ear loops.

  43. Lina. (IL, United States)

I really like these masks because of their protection. You can see it’s made in the USA and a good quality product. If you looking for good protection like travelling or crowded places I would recommend these masks.

  44. Cleatta R. Morris. (DE, United States)

I was delighted to find N95 masks that were made in the USA available at a good price. They arrived quickly and were in perfect condition. I will most definitely be buying from this company again.

  45. CraigS. (ME, United States)

The masks fit my face well. I like the double horizontal straps on these masks…they feel more secure than the masks with two ear loops. No odor like some masks. We used these for air travel and felt very comfortable in them the whole time.

  46. Sandy W. (MA, United States)

This masks was definitely different than i expected. It was weird that the straps are not through the ears but you put them to the head. Its nice that it doesn’t tug on your ears all day but it does its job.

  47. Cindy Lu. (MS, United States)

These masks are very straight forward. They fit well and have a nose band to adjust to your nose shape. They are easy to breathe in and good for everyday mask wearing. I’ve been wearing these while shopping, and they feel nice for about an hour or so, but haven’t gone before that. No frills, just very straight forward covering of the mouth and nose.

  48. Kat. (NV. United States)

I really like these masks and think they provide good protection! It was easy for me to get it fitted properly on my face and feel really comfortable. The seal is good and my glasses don’t fog up at all. I think the over the head straps provide a better deal than the ear ones and these ones are just tight enough to fit properly without being too tight.

  49. oojoo. (ME, United States)

I used it in my medical office. Good quality and good fit with nosepiece preventing fogging of face shield. Thicker loops are much better/softer than other masks I have used. good/quality, no issues. Would buy again.

  50. Micado. (VT, United States)

I use this mask for protection in the dental office. I really like this product: it’s comfortable, doesn’t cut into my skin, fairly easy to breathe and being NIOSH certified adds to my piece of mind !
