Answer: All approved N95 respirators must be headband style. NIOSH does not approved ear-loop style masks. - When you hold this mask up to the light, can you see any light come through or is it completely solid?
Answer: If you hold the mask up to the light you can see the light come through the ultrasonic welds, this is true of any mask that uses sonic welding. Light passing through the masks is not an indication of filtration. These n masks are very tight fitting to me. Not like the regular paper ones I am used to. I do understand though that they would need to fit tightly to give a good seal of protection. It has two straps to go over the head keeping a good tight seal. I find placing my chin in the mask and pulling both straps over the head at the same time is best. Clamping the nose piece is a must for a good seal. I breathe very well wearing it. The material is good enough so that it can be hand-washed and reused. I would buy it again.

These are my go to N95 masks now. They look great, are lightweight, and have a good metal insert at the top. Breathability is typical for a fabric N95. I like how the loops go over your head instead of on your ears.

I really like that they don’t loop around the ears, so it is more comfortable for me and doesn’t interfere with my glasses. It is comfortable and fits well. The only downside is that they are more difficult when you have long hair because you have to put the bottom strap on around your neck, pull your hair out, then put the top one on. Taking it off almost always makes a bit of a mess of my hair, but still not a dealbreaker.

Good quality mask with 2 straps that wrap around the head. Mask seems well made and fits well, with metal pieces to fit the nose securely. I personally prefer the version with the ear straps and find them easier to wear, though the wrap-around straps this has may be better for longer wearing times. Overall a very good mask if you are fine with the straps around your head.

I was able to wear the mask for over four hours without fatigue. The mask performed well in outdoor activities such as soccer. The only issue I had with the mask was the position of the mask straps. I prefer the over the ear straps instead of the neck straps. Overall, I would definitely recommend these masks to people.

Ear-loop masks bend my ears forward, and these head-band masks were hard to find in any color but white. this one works great, – esp with my hair in a ponytail or half-up. Elastic doesn’t get caught in my earrings. the mask doesn’t fog my glasses. as an average size adult female with a smallish face, I was concerned based on reviews that this would be too large, but it’s PERFECT. just a tiny air gap under my chin that went away when adjusted. very breathable, doesn’t collapse on inhaling and hit my lips, holds water without leaking. wish they had this in gray. will definitely buy more. so glad to have found a NIOSH-approved N95 made in the USA!!!

They are comfortable….I’m not a fan of two straps on my face though it is very secure. I’m also not sure if this is a KN 95 mask it does say N95 not for sure if this is the same. The mask is of great quality and construction. I like the the fact that the metal nose piece is hidden and can be bent to fit your face. I’ve seen some masks the metal nose piece is exposed and they either break or fall off. This design in a lot more secure. Also the straps are pretty secure as well I’ve seen cheaper models look like there just stapled on. Overall these are really good masks just not sure about the two straps….it’s something you just have to get use too but give great protection.

The mask provides a good seal around the face and the straps that go around the back of the head are more comfortable than the straps that tug on your ear. The fabric is soft and the mask doesn’t dig into your face like the round ones that are kind of hard. After wearing these for some time, your face is not sore. This mask does not have the sharp piece on the bottom of the seam that scratches your head when taking it off. I like the black color.

After using the masks for almost a month, I can say that they’re great! The headbands have a good positive fit unlike some that feel kind of weak. The mask has no smell to them – unlike some others that have a weird, lingering chemical smell to them.
The black color on the outside is evenly distributed and fits in well with whatever I’m wearing. I wish however that the inside layer was also black but that’s not too critical to its filtration capabilities, but it isn’t as fashionable as a pure black mask.
